So what was the hammer-wielding hero up to while Iron Man and Captain America were clashing with one another? He was just hanging out in Australia.

Marvel has released a mockumentary that shows how Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, was spending his time during the events depicted in Civil War.

“I guess I’m just taking a break,” Thor says at the start of the video, which premiered at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer and was posted online by Marvel over the weekend. “…I needed some ‘me’ time.”

Thor explains that he went to Australia and moved in with a guy named Darryl, who appears to be uncomfortable around his new friend.

The clip includes an appearance by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, who gets a call from Tony Stark asking him to join Team Iron Man. Thor is visibly jealous that Stark didn’t reach out to him, too.

The mockumentary was directed by Taika Waititi, who is directing the third Thor movie, Thor: Ragnarok. It will be included as a bonus with the digital version of Captain America: Civil War, out September 2.

Hemsworth, Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett and Jeff Goldblum will star in Thor: Ragnarok, which opens in November of 2017.

Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
