More nominations for Lady Gaga and “A Star Is Born”

Neal Preston/Warner Bros.Lady Gaga continues to rack up the awards nominations for her role in A Star Is Born.

Her latest honors come from the 24th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, which has nominated her for Best Actress and Best Song.  In the Best Actress category, she’ll be competing against Glenn Close, Emily Blunt, Melissa McCarthy and Toni Collette, among others.

In the Best Song category, she’s nominated for “Shallow,” her hit duet with her co-star Bradley Cooper.  He’s nominated for Best Actor, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.

The Critics’ Choice Awards will be handed out live, January 13, on the CW starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Gaga has also received Golden Globe nominations and the National Board of Review has named her Best Actress.  In addition, she’s up for a number of awards from film critics’ associations in a variety of cities, and she’s nominated for two Satellite Awards, which are given out by by the International Press Academy.
