Original Batman star Adam West has died at the age of 88 from leukemia. He once told the Daily Express; ”My Batman has endured because it had something for everyone. When you were a kid you could enjoy all the adventure, the color, the crazy costumes, the wonderful villains. Then as you got a little bit older you saw the satirical elements, the bizarre stuff.”

Celebs React …

Burt Ward, who played Robin to West’s Batman, “I am devastated at the loss of one my very dearest friends,. Adam and I had a special friendship for more than 50 years. We shared some of the most fun times of our lives together. Our families have deep love and respect for each other. This is a terribly unexpected loss of my lifelong friend. I will forever miss him. There are several fine actors who have portrayed Batman in films. In my eyes, there was only one real Batman that is and always will be Adam West. He was truly the Bright Night.”

Ben Affleck: “Adam West exemplified heroism. Kind, funny and an all around great guy. Thank you for showing us all how it’s done. @therealadamwest.”

Jamie Lee Curtis: “Holy heartbreak Batman. Adam West was a big part of my childhood. We were acquaintances in my adulthood. A wonderful man who will b missed.”

Lea Thompson: “As a little girl #AdamWest was my hero. His #tongueincheek delivery, his commitment to the ridiculous, would inform my whole esthetic #RIP.”

Mark Hamill: “#AdamWest was such a wonderful actor & so kind, I’m so lucky to have worked w/ him & tell him how much he meant to me & millions of fans,”

Will Arnett, the voice of Lego Batman, “RIP Adam West. You will always be Batman.”

Diana Goodwin attended the screening and says the gifts were sexist and offensive. “Actually, it felt a little absurd. The gifts were inappropriate. Especially when you’re watching a movie that completely revolves around a strong female superheroine.”

Gossip Cop claims Jerry Seinfeld got upset with his daughter for watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The site quotes him as saying: “I never lose it around them. The one time I really, really got upset was when my daughter was watching the Kardashians on her phone in her bed and I could not take that scene. Kardashian family’s show is the premier example of reality television. These people are not doing anything interesting. I lost my temper with that one.”

Radar Online claims Bill Cosby may testify during his sexual assault trial. The site quotes his representative Andrew Wyatt as saying; “Nothing is ever off the table in a trial of this magnitude. OK! magazine claims David Schwimmer is pushing for a Friends reunion. A source tells the magazine; “David’s always wanted to bring the show back – he really pushed for it to happen ten years ago but Jen [Aniston] was boxed in with her string of movie rom-coms. He’ll never give up hope of getting it off the ground and gets furious every single time it falls apar. He had a meltdown when Jen was interviewed last year on UK TV saying it will never happen. He just thinks it’s a total no-brainer, especially if it’s a cool one-off project. But getting Jen on board is a total joke,” our source concludes.
