Speaking to the British tabloid The Sun, Miley says, “We toke a little. Every now and then, you know. My mom [Tish] got me back on it.” However, she insists, “When I’m…working I don’t think I function at my highest, most intelligent, most being-able-to-be-as-aware-and-as-present, so I don’t smoke when I work.”
Miley’s back on the promo trail talking up her new single “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” a collaboration with Mark Ronson. The “Uptown Funk” producer tells The Sun that he started writing the song about his ex-wife, and then decided to reach out to Miley.
“The first day she came in, she recorded the chorus and wrote the verses,” he says, adding, “We both knew there was chemistry there. That led me to work on Miley’s [next album]. She’s really one of the greatest voices I’ve ever recorded.”
Considering Mark’s worked with Adele, Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars, that’s high praise indeed.
