Meredith TruaxMike Posner is a proud Detroit native, and he’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving this year in his hometown, rocking the crowd at Ford Field during the Detroit Lion’s Thanksgiving game.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Mike will perform during halftime at the game, as the Lions take on the Chicago Bears.
The Lions often feature local talent at their annual Thanksgiving game: In 2015, Big Sean, who’s also from Detroit, performed at halftime, and in 2016, the late Aretha Franklin sang the national anthem.
Mike recently released a new track called “Song About You.” His new album is due early 2019.
