Brian ZiffShawn Mendes has released another new track ahead of his self-titled album release this week.
The song, called “Nervous,” is about getting butterflies from being around a crush. Shawn shows off his falsetto skills on the upbeat tune, featuring claps, guitar riffs and bouncy percussion.
“I get a little bit nervous around you/Get a little bit stressed out when I think about you/Get a little excited, baby, when I think about you,” he sings on the chorus.
The song follows Shawn’s previous releases “In My Blood,” “Lost In Japan,” “Youth” featuring Khalid, and “Where Were You In the Morning?”
His third studio album drops Friday.
