The British Academy of Film and Television Arts are the U.K. equivalent of the Oscars, and are often seen as a good predictor of the Oscar nominations. Gaga is up for Leading Actress, as well as Original Music, where shares the nomination with co-star and director Bradley Cooper and Lukas Nelson, who worked on the soundtrack.

BAFTA gave a lot of love to A Star Is Born: seven nominations in all, including a record five for Cooper.  According to Variety, it’s a record because his five nods came in a single year and are in five different categories, including Best Director and Leading Actor.

The leading BAFTA nominee, with 12 nods, is The Favourite, which features Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. Another movie in which he appears, Mary, Queen of Scots, received three nominations.
