Vincent PetersKelly Clarkson is finally showing us the “Meaning of Life.” The singer has released the title track off her forthcoming album.
The soulful love song features Kelly’s powerhouse vocals telling the story of an eye-opening relationship.
“’Cause when you kiss me I know who I am/When you let me feel it I understand/When I’m lost I just look in your eyes/You show me the meaning of life/The meaning of life,” she sings.
And song sounds just as good live. Kelly also released a video of herself performing the song as part of her Nashville Sessions series.
“’Meaning of Life’ is the song that started this entire project,” Kelly says in a statement. “The vibe, soul, and message of this song was very critical to show other writers and producers of the new direction we were taking.”
Meaning of Life, the album, comes out October 27.
