The singer tells Entertainment Tonight that not being in a relationship is the key to being able to tackle multiple big projects at once.
“You know, when you’re single, you got a lot of time to yourself and a lot of energy, and I’m just finding a delicate balance,” she says.
But if rumors are to be believed, she might not be single for long.
Sources tells E! News that Katy’s pal Robert Pattinson has ended his engagement to singer FKA Twigs and has been looking to Katy for emotional support following the breakup.
“Rob has been leaning a lot on Katy since his split with FKA Twigs,” one source says. “They talk on the phone regularly and make sure to see each other when they both aren’t away working. Katy has always been a good friend to Rob over the years and has been there for him emotionally.”
The two first sparked rumors of a romance — which was later denied — in early August when they were spotted getting “extremely affectionate” with each other while out to dinner in Hollywood.
