Solaiman FazelAfter wrapping up her State of The World 2018 tour last week, on Monday, Janet Jackson revealed the artwork for her new single, which she will release this week.
Janet will drop “Made for Now” featuring Daddy Yankee on Friday, and she’ll also perform the song that night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Ms. Jackson posted the cover on Instagram and commented, “From my lips…#MadeForNow with @daddyyankee 8/17”
The track is produced by Harmony Samuels, who’s also worked with Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez, and Ariana Grande. This will be Janet’s first new music since she released her Unbreakable album in 2015.
The music video was shot in New York City and features dancers from Ghana, Nigeria, Grenada and Trinidad, as well from as the United States.
Janet’s next performance will be September 29 at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City.
