Despite rumors that the two are a new couple, a source tells the New York Post’s Page Six that Hailee is not interested in a romantic relationship with the Bieb. She’s reportedly made it clear to him that she only wants a friendship.
And according to Page Six, Hailee’s already taken, anyway: she’s supposedly been dating Cameron Smoller since 2016. Smoller even posted an Instagram photo of the two together on Sunday, captioning it with rose emojis.
TMZ initially reported that Hailee and Justin have been dating for a little over a month after being introduced by the pastor at the church they both attend. But there is photographic evidence that they’ve known each other since at least 2011.
While the site later amended its story with word from Hailee’s rep that the two are just friends, TMZ says it still believes its sources are correct, and that the two are more than pals.
