The British tabloid The Sun reports that Harry’s relationship with chef, food blogger and cookbook author Tess Ward is over, because Tess has gotten back together with her old boyfriend.
A source told the paper, “Tess realized she still had feelings for her ex after splitting from him to date Harry, and has apologized to him…It will take a while for Tess to build back his trust but they have been getting on as normal.”
According to the source, Tess and Harry — who were first linked in May — haven’t seen each other for weeks anyway, since both of them are so busy with their careers.
However, Harry likely has no interest in a romance at the moment, because he’s mourning his beloved stepdad. A spokesperson for One Direction tells The Sun, “Harry’s stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. The family asks for privacy at this time.”
Twist, 57, helped raise Harry and his sister Gemma. Harry was best man when his mother Anne married Robin in 2013 after years of dating.
