Jamie-James MedinaDuring his concert in Mexico City on Tuesday night, Harry Styles, who grew up outside Manchester, England, paid tribute to the victims of the Monday night bombing outside the Manchester Arena that killed 22 people after an Ariana Grande concert.

In a moment captured on YouTube, Harry told the audience, “Last night, there was a tragedy in my hometown of Manchester, and I have been left with a hole in my heart.  I went to my first show in the arena, and I’ve had some of the best experiences of my life playing in Manchester.”

He added, “We have a choice, every single day that we wake up, of what we can put into the world, and I ask you to please choose love every single day.”

Harry then asked the audience to join him a moment of silence for the victims and families of the victims, and said he’d be playing a small acoustic set, rather than a full concert.
