Harry’s single “Sign of the Times” has debuted at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.  He’s the fourth One Direction member to score a solo charting single, following Zayn with his #1 hit “Pillowtalk,” Louis Tomlinson with “Just Hold On,” and Niall Horan with “This Town.”  “Sign of the Times” is the lead single from Harry’s self-titled debut solo album, which is due May 12.

Billboard notes that One Direction is the first group in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 to have two of its members debut in the top 10 with solo singles.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran‘s “Shape of You” has now been #1 for 12 weeks.  The last song to spend that long in the top spot was The Chainsmokers’ “Closer.”  In the history of the Hot 100, which dates back to 1958, there have only been 18 songs, including Ed’s, that have spent 12 weeks or more at #1.
