Terence Patrick/CBS ©2017 CBS Broadcasting, Inc.Harry Styles finished his week-long residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden Thursday night with a new edition of “Carpool Karaoke” and a performance of “Kiwi“ from his new, self-titled album.

Things got underway quickly as host and driver James Corden reminded Harry that the last time he joined him for a ride was with One Direction and he sat in the back. Styles laughed when he said he felt like he had more control “over the buttons” being seated up front.

The two friends started off singing Harry’s new single, “Sign of the Times,” in which Corden worked his falsetto by clearing his throat. The two also played air drums on the crescendo before the chorus. James then asked him what his mother’s favorite song on his new album is, and after Harry said “Sweet Creature,” the two sang a bit of that.

It wasn’t all Harry songs, though. After an exchange about clothes that Harry could wear that James couldn’t, the two harmonized for Outkast’s “Hey Ya.” The funniest moment came at the end when James asked Harry about his “go to” song when he sings karaoke, and Harry said “Endless Love,” the hit ballad by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie. James asked who he would be and when Harry said Richie, James challenged him and they sang it, with James ending the song joking that he needed to have a chat with his wife.

Harry returned at the end of the show for a full band performance of the rocking number, “Kiwi,” complete with flashpots.

The prime time premiere of Carpool Karaoke airs Monday night on CBS.

The Late Late Show airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS.
