ABC/Paula LoboHalsey cancelled the final Canadian date of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom tour Wednesday night due to a “personal emergency.”

Tuesday, the singer stopped her Calgary concert mid-set and her Edmonton show was nixed for the following night.

Promoters for Live Nation said in a statement, “Due to a personal emergency, Halsey will be unable to perform tonight at Rogers Place in Edmonton.”

Halsey later posted her own statement on Instagram, apologizing to fans in Calgary and Edmonton.

“There are very few things in this world that could make me stop a show, and my fans know that,” she writes. “This is breaking my heart but I have to take a few days to gain my composure so I can put on the best show possible in Minneapolis and finish out the tour with a bang.”

She promised to make it up to fans in Canada and asked for privacy during this time.  No word on what the personal emergency was.

Halsey’s tour is set to resume November 18 in Minneapolis.
