Fan Samantha Bolton wore one of her homemade eye-catching designs to meet Katy before Monday night’s Witness: The Tour concert in Louisville, Kentucky. The black mini-dress was bedazzled with thousands of rhinestones and the Witness eyeball logo. She even had shoes to match.
Samantha posted a video of their encounter on Instagram. As soon as Katy spots the dress, she says, “That’s so cute. Where’d you get that?”
When Katy finds out it was homemade, she screams, “You made that?! Why wouldn’t you make me one?”
Samantha tells TMZ that Katy asked her to design an outfit for her and one for her dog. She’s also being flooded with requests for the dress online. The 26-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina says she has a 9-to-5 job but hopes this exposure could jump-start her fashion career.
