ABC/Adam RoseJustin Timberlake is set to headline next year’s Super Bowl halftime show, but the production is being kept under wraps. How secret is it? Even JT’s wife Jessica Biel doesn’t know what he’s going to do.
Speaking to E! Online, Jessica says, “I know nothing, truly.” All she would say is, “They’re being very thoughtful about what they want to do and figuring it out.”
However, the actress says that she, Justin and their two-year-old son Silas are looking forward to returning to Minneapolis for the Super Bowl, because she was born in Minnesota.
E! Online quotes a source as saying that Justin’s set will be “classic J.T.,” adding, “Justin will be playing his old stuff during his Super Bowl performance…he’s very excited for the opportunity.” The man himself has promised no wardrobe malfunctions, and Janet Jackson will not be joining him onstage, as far as we know.
As for other surprise guests, Justin’s worked with so many people that he pretty much could call anyone, but we’re sure many fans are hoping for an *NSYNC reunion.
This will be JT’s third time at the Super Bowl halftime show: he performed with *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Steven Tyler, Nelly and others in 2001, and with Janet Jackson in 2004.
Super Bowl LII (52) will take place February 4, 2018 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
