ABC/Ida Mae AstuteAnother career milestone for Ed Sheeran is scheduled for this weekend: Sunday night, he’ll be headlining the U.K.’s most prestigious festival: Glastonbury.  But he shouldn’t be nervous, considering that, according to Ed, pretty much everyone he knows will be there watching him.

Speaking to The Sun, Ed says all his relatives, and his girlfriend Cherry‘s relatives, will be in the audience — because he gave them every ticket he was allotted.

“Basically, all of my tickets went to every single aunt and uncle, cousin, cousin’s wife, cousin’s husband, cousin’s kids and all of Cherry’s family and all of our school mates,” he says.

But some celebrity pals will be coming to check out his show too, including Victoria and David Beckham, who are his neighbors, and actress Saoirse [SERR-shuh] Ronan, who stars in his video for “Galway Girl.”

The Glastonbury Festival has been staged in one form or another since the ’70s, and nearly every act you can think of has performed there, which is why it’s such a big deal. This year, the other headliners include Katy Perry, Lorde and Foo Fighters and about 175,000 people are expected to attend.

Ed admits that in general, he’s really not into this type of event…but he’ll make an exception for this one.

“I don’t really like festivals,” he tells ABC Radio. “But getting to headline a festival like that’s gonna be pretty exciting!”
