ABC/Image Group LADJ Khaled’s son, Asahd, celebrated his first birthday in grand style Saturday at a Miami party hosted by Diddy.
Inspired by the title of Khaled‘s hit “Wild Thoughts,” it was a jungle-themed bash with real tigers at the LIV nightclub, according to E Online. Dancers were dressed as jungle animals, as Asahd sat upon his throne wearing a golden crown as King of the Jungle.
Khaled wrote in an Instagram post, “HAPPY BDAY!! I love you. I’m am so proud of you !!!!!! Thank you for being my son! THANK YOU GOD!”
Khaled and his son were dressed in matching outfits: blue print shirt, blue pants, and white sneakers. The birthday boy and his young friends enjoyed riding around the club in toy luxury cars.
During the party, Diddy presented Khaled and his co-executive producer Asahd with platinum plaques for the Grateful album, and the hit singles “I’m The One,” “Wild Thoughts,” and “Shining.”
TMZ reports that Khaled’s special gift to his son was a $100,000 diamond-studded watch. Asahd can’t tell time yet, of course, but the watch is adult-sized, so he can grow into it.
