Olivia BeeIn a new court filing related to Kesha‘s ongoing suit against her former producer, Dr. Luke,  Luke’s attorney claims that Kesha “falsely asserted” to Lady Gaga in a text that not only had the producer sexually assaulted her, but that he’d also done the same to Katy Perry.

As Page Six reports, the attorney, Jeffrey M. Movit, says in a Manhattan Supreme Court filing that Kesha made the false claim “for the purpose of furthering her malicious plan to destroy [Dr. Luke’s] reputation and blacklist [him] from the music industry.”

According to Movit, in February of 2016, Kesha made the “knowingly false and wholly defamatory accusation” that Luke had “raped Kathryn Hudson [known as] Katy Perry.”

Then, according to the filing, Kesha and Lady Gaga “coordinated to post graphics on their Twitter and Instagram pages” that referred to the allegations.  Movit also claims that Gaga “spread negative messages about” the producer “in the press and on social media,” with Kesha’s “encouragement.”

In 2014, Kesha sued Dr. Luke, born Lukasz Gottwald, claiming he drugged and raped her.  Gottwald has denied all the allegations and has sued Kesha for defamation.

ABC News has obtained a copy of the filing, which confirms that Luke’s lawyers took Katy’s deposition, but her name is redacted in all references to the text message to Gaga.  The content of Katy’s deposition is not revealed in the filing.

Katy worked with Dr. Luke on many of her early hits, but the two no longer collaborate. According to The Blast, Katy has never accused Dr. Luke of any sexual misconduct.  She has claimed that she no longer works with him because she “had to leave the nest.”
