Thursday, incidentally the same day Allen’s adopted daughter Dylan Farrow reiterated claims the filmmaker sexually abused her when she was seven, Firth told The Guardian, “I wouldn’t work with him again.”

Allen again asserted that the claims were false, he was never charged, and that he believes Dylan had been “coached” from an early age by her adopted mom, his ex Mia Farrow, in retaliation for his relationship with Farrow’s adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn.

Firth joins other Allen movie alumni in expressing regret they worked for him, including Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, actress-director Greta Gerwig, Golden Globe winner Rachel Brosnahan, Rebecca Hall, and Timothée Chalamet.

The latter two performers have donated their salaries from their work in the as-yet-unreleased Allen movie A Rainy Day in New York to the Time’s Up legal defense fund.

Of late, Alec Baldwin seems to be the only actor to publicly stand to support Allen. “Woody Allen was investigated forensically by two states (NY and CT) and no charges were filed,” Baldwin tweeted earlier this week. “The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt, has some purpose. But it’s unfair and sad to me. I worked w WA 3 times and it was one of the privileges of my career.”
