That's led to talk that the long-dreamed-of joint tour with both boy bands could become a reality. But according to *NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, it's not likely to happen. As previously reported, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Nick Carter and AJ McLean billed themselves as BackSYNC for a charity event in June; that same month, Chris and AJ performed together at yet another charity event. Meanwhile, Joey, AJ and Nick are teaming up with Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris for a four-night Las Vegas engagement starting August 19. Just last month, both Nick and AJ said they were open to the idea of a joint tour. The singer/actress, who hasn’t had a starring role in a TV series since her Disney Channel days on Wizards of Waverly Place, told reporters at the Television Critics Association Summer 2021 Press Tour that she felt way more in control this time around. “I signed my life away to Disney at a very young age. Fans in Paris, France will be able to see Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, H.E.R., Black Eyed Peas and DJ Snake in the flesh; while Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, Lizzo, Meek Mill, Shawn Mendes, Alessia Cara, Burna Boy, Cyndi Lauper and the previously announced Jennifer Lopez will hit up New York City. Four African artists have also been announced for Lagos, Nigeria. ABC Today would have been Whitney Houston's 58th birthday, and a new special focusing on the late icon's life and career will air on ABC Wednesday night. The special, Superstar: Whitney Houston, features new interviews with those who knew her well -- including Brandy, Chaka Khan, Babyface and BeBe Winans -- as well as archival interviews of Bobby Brown and Houston; among them, her infamous 2002's sit-down with Diane Sawyer. It will detail her many accomplishments, as well as her struggles with fame and her tragic death in 2012. In the trailer, Whitney can be heard in a voiceover saying, "I can tell you that I am not self-destructive. I am not a person who wants to die. I'm a person who has life, who wants to live. The song tallied its 87th week on the chart, matching Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" for the most weeks spent on the Hot 100. “Blinding Lights” first entered the chart at number 11 on December 14, 2019. It hit number one on the chart dated April 4, 2020 and spent four weeks at the top. Now in it’s 87th week, it sits at number 16. The song has already broken multiple records, including for most time spent in the Hot 100's top five, top 10, top 20 and top 40. The Weeknd’s new single, “Take My Breath,” was released last week.
