Halsey throws ‘Where the Wild Things Are’-themed baby shower

The "Without Me" singer shared a series of snaps to her Instagram Stories showing her friends and family at an intimate outdoor gathering. One update, according to E! News, depicted a series of Polaroids taken during the party scattered over a copy of the children's book Where the Wild Things Are. Halsey also included photos that showed off the type of activities she planned for her guests, which included bib decorating and a photo booth where attendees used props that paid homage to the 1963 Maurice Sendak book. Halsey has yet to reveal when she and partner Alev Aydin will be welcoming their little one into the world. CNW Group/Spin Master Your kid is about to become an Adam Levine fan. The Maroon 5 singer is set to perform an original song for the upcoming animated feature film PAW Patrol: The Movie. The upbeat song, titled “Good Mood,” was co-written by Adam and will make its debut in the first trailer for the film, out Thursday. PAW Patrol: The Movie, produced by Spin Master Entertainment in association with Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures, is based on the beloved preschool series about a group of rescue pups. The series, from executive producers Kenya Barris and Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions, combines music and animation to "remix civics for a new generation," according to Netflix. As seen in the trailer, We the People covers a range of topics, including government rights, citizenship, taxes and more. Nick Carter and wife Lauren Kitt reveal name of their one-month-old baby girl

They also explained the inspiration behind it to Us Weekly. “Funny enough, that was the name Lauren wanted to give to [our eldest daughter], Saoirse,” the Backstreet Boy told the magazine. “Essentially, we kind of gave up on the name, but Lauren really liked Pearl. Then we discovered that we were going to have another baby. That’s when I was like, ‘Listen, let’s go with what you wanted.’ So she became Pearl.” Lauren joked they went with a short name because “we needed something easier to say than Saoirse [SUR-shah].” The two also shared some never-before-seen family photos with the mag. Baby Pearl was born in April, but as Nick revealed on social media, the birth was not without complications. But back in 2000, when he was 29, the singer had not yet come out as gay publicly and was living with a lot of anxiety. In a new cover story for People's second annual Pride Issue, the Latin superstar recalls the moment of panic he felt when Barbara Walters asked if he was gay on national television. At the time, he opted not to answer. "When she dropped the question, I felt violated because I was just not ready to come out. I was very afraid," Ricky admits to People. "There's a little PTSD with that." He adds, "A lot of people say, what would you do differently? Well, maybe I would have come out in that interview. Darkroom/Interscope Records Billie Eilish has released her new track “Lost Cause,” along with a self-directed music video. In the video, Billie sings a scathing send-off to a deadbeat ex, with the support of a group of girlfriends. They play Twister, dance around, shoot Silly String at one another and have a pajama party in the playful clip. “I know you think you're such an outlaw/But you got no job/You ain't nothing but a lost cause/And this ain't nothing like it once was,” Billie sings on the track. “Lost Cause” is the latest release off Billie’s upcoming album, Happier Than Ever, following the song “Your Power.” The album drops July 30.
