ABC/Kelsey McNealBTS is making history yet again. The Korean group has announced they’ll close their Love Yourself North American tour at Citi Field, becoming the first K-Pop group to ever play a U.S. stadium.
The BTS Army can see the group in their final performance on the tour at the 40,000-seat Queens, New York City venue on Oct. 6. Tickets will go on sale Aug. 17 at 4 p.m. EST.
The news comes after the “Fake Love” singers sold out shows across America and in Canada, Billboard reports.
The seven-member band is no stranger to breaking records. In May, BTS became the first Korean act to hit number-one on the Billboard 200 chart with their album Love Yourself: Tear. They’re expected to release a new album, Love Yourself: Answer, just a week before they start their tour on September 5 in Los Angeles.
