Britney Spears to launch lifestyle brand next year

PRNewsfoto/Epic RightsAfter years of success with her fragrance line, Britney Spears is branching out.  The star will launch a lifestyle collection next year that will include everything from apparel and hair care, to accessories and electronics.

Britney has signed with global brand management and licensing company Epic Rights — the same company creating a new line of merch for *NSYNC — to develop the collection, which will “reflect her personal sense of style, lifestyle, artistry, and creativity,” according to a release.  She’ll be personally involved in all aspects of the new line.

“We see this new lifestyle collection as Britney’s next step in connecting with her legions of loyal fans around the globe,” her manager Larry Rudolph says in a statement.

He adds, “Sharing her style and fashion sense through products she has developed is a testament to her authenticity as well as her commitment to and appreciation of the fans that have made it all possible.”  The line is expected to debut in the spring of 2019.

Britney, who’s also the current face of the clothing brand Kenzo, will kick off a tour July 12 in National Harbor, MD. The trek is her first since closing out her super-successful Las Vegas residency, which ran for four years. 

Her U.S. dates wrap up July 29; she’ll then head overseas for shows in Europe and the U.K.  The tour ends September 1.
