The singer made the big announcement with a 30-minute live video on Ellen DeGeneres‘ YouTube channel Thursday night. The video included a parade and a light show before Britney appeared to sign autographs for fans and the reason for the celebration was revealed.
The new residency, Britney: Domination, will be staged at the Park Theater at Park MGM starting in February.
“I am so happy to be returning to my second home — Las Vegas!” Britney says in a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I’m working on a brand-new show and I’m so excited for my fans to see it! It’s going to be so much fun being back on stage and I can’t wait to perform at Park Theater.”
The production kicks off Valentine’s Day weekend, on February 13 and 14, and will run for 32 performances in 2019. Tickets go on sale October 26 at 10 a.m. PT.
Britney made her Vegas debut in 2013 with her Piece of Me residency at Planet Hollywood. She wrapped that show in December of this year and this year, she went on the road, playing shows on the East Coast and in Europe.
