ABC/Paula LoboSince hitting it big, Bebe Rexha has had a lot of “pinch me” moments. But one she’ll always remember is the night she found out Mariah Carey was a fan.
“With ‘Me, Myself & I,’ the one thing that I can never forget is I did a gala and Mariah Carey was there and I was singing ‘Me, Myself & I’ and everybody else was really kind of drunk and she was the only one kind of like singing along with me,” she tells ABC Radio.
Bebe continues, “And at the end she told me that she loved the record and I was like, ‘Whoa, that’s Mariah Carey.’”
The singer had another memorable career milestone just this week when she was nominated for her first MTV Video Music Award. She received a nod for Best Collaboration for “Meant to Be” with Florida Georgia Line.
In honor of her nomination, Bebe tweeted that she’ll be debuting her “I’m a Mess” music video today.
