ABC/Image Group LABebe Rexha‘s spent all year hanging out with superstar country duo Florida Georgia Line as they performed their smash hit “Meant to Be” at concerts and on various TV shows.  But on Wednesday night’s Country Music Association Awards, Bebe was starstruck when she met a completely different country artist — who also happens to be her culinary idol.

The star in question: Trisha Yearwood, the award-winning country singer who’s also created her own cooking empire, featuring her own products, cookbooks and a TV showSpeaking to People TV on the CMA red carpet, Bebe said she was “freaking out” because she’d met Trisha.

“She’s a strong woman, and I really look up to her,” gushed Bebe. “And I’ve always wanted a cooking show. I’m not the best cook, but I feel like the way she transitioned from music to cooking…she’s amazing!  And I wanna try her food so bad!”

Then, when Trisha happened to walk by again, Bebe called her over and begged her to teach her how to make “really good fried chicken.”

“You’re such an inspiration to me as a woman,” she fangirled.

“O.K., you just need to come over to my house. We’ll make chicken together, it’ll be really easy,” Trisha replied.  “And I’m not just kidding — we totally will do it.”

“You don’t understand!  I’m freaking out!” Bebe squealed.  “This is the highlight!”

Presumably, an invite to Trisha’s house makes up for the fact that “Meant to Be” failed to take home the CMA Award for Single of the Year.  And when Bebe and Trisha do get together to cook, maybe Trisha’s husband, Garth Brooks, will be around to sample their work.
