A source tells Variety that Ari’s team “has not even gotten to that yet,” adding, “This is about the victims, it feels silly even to be thinking about the tour at this point.” According to the source, the team is “still assessing the situation and how she’s doing.”
ABC Radio has confirmed the details of Variety’s story.
Ariana is scheduled to perform in London on Thursday and Friday, and then in Belgium on Sunday.
ABC News has also confirmed a TMZ report that Ariana’s mother Joan helped to escort some fans to safety on Monday night. She was sitting in her front row seat when the bomb went off, and told a group of kids to come with her backstage. She and Ariana’s security waited with the fans until they were able to leave the arena safely.
Following the bombing Monday night, Ariana tweeted, “broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”
