Ariana Grande‘s going all-out with her new song ,”Thank u, next,” which she surprise-released Saturday.
She’s just dropped a lyric video for the song, which features the words in a “ransom note”-type font. She’s also confirmed that she’ll be debuting the song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday.
Ellen tweeted, “I’ve got a Grande announcement: @ArianaGrande is on my show this Wednesday. #ThankUnext.” Ari retweeted the announcement with a black heart emoji. Check your local listings for where and when the show airs in your market.
Meanwhile, “Thank u, next” has set a record for biggest single day streams for a female artist in Spotify history. Globally, the song racked up about 8.2 million streams.
As previously reported, “Thank u, next” features Ari name-checking her ex-boyfriends Ricky Alvarez, Big Sean, Mac Miller and Pete Davidson, before revealing that she’s “moved on” with someone new: herself.
Ari sings about herself, “She taught me love/She taught me patience/How she handles pain/That s**t’s amazing.”
