In addition to giving us the TV debut of her new single “No Tears Left to Cry,” Ari will participate in sketches and sit for an interview. In the Instagram announcement of the special event, Ari introduces what she claims is a video of a fan singing “No Tears Left to Cry,” but it’s actually Jimmy Fallon, singing about her appearance to the song’s melody.
“Tuesday May 1/Ariana Grande is here/for the entire show/Ariana, The Tonight Show, Fallon and Grande are ready to go,” sings Jimmy. “Talk sketches surprises too/”No Tears Left to Cry” broadcast debut/#ArianaOnFallon/Tuesday May 1 you know where to be/11:30, NBC…NBD.”
