Ariana Grande gives details of BBC special, says it was a “fun, comfortable experience”

UK babes, I’m excited to announce that my BBC special we shot in London will be airing on Nov 1 at 8pm on @bbcone thank you to my band, my MD, our background singers, incredible conductor steve sidwell, and this stunning orchestra (all girls, werk) i had the honor of performing wit,” she wrote on Instagram.

“i loved these arrangements so much. thank u to my babes in the audience who made this such a fun, comfortable experience. miss u,” she added.

Ari also included a photo of herself in a fluffy, glamorous dress, seating in front of the all-female orchestra.

As previously reported, the hour-long special will feature an in-depth interview with Ariana, as well as concert performances of material from Sweetener.  The special was recorded September 7 in London in front of a live audience.  No word on a U.S. airdate yet.

Meanwhile, you can see Ariana sing “The Wizard and I” on NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween, airing Monday, October 29 at 10 p.m. ET.  The show celebrates the 15th anniversary of Ari’s favorite musical, Wicked.
