ABC Radio/Steve Iervolino(NEW YORK) — Believe him or don’t, 50 Cent has gotten Starz’s attention.
After claiming the network blamed him for the recent leak of the remaining Power episodes, 50 has seemingly owned up to the crime, claiming he did Starz a favor.
“POWER Ratings up another 10 percent for episode 408,” 50 wrote as a caption to a photo of himself on Instagram. “They glad I leaked the s*** now. LOL #SAVAGELIFE”
While it’s not certain if 50 actually leaked the episodes or is only joking, the rapper has previously admitted to purposely causing controversy with the hopes of garnering more attention for his series.
50 then switched gears to promote his upcoming BET show, 50 Central, which is set to premiere in September. “Now watch what I do on BET. #50Centralbet,” he wrote.
Last week, Starz vowed to take “legal action” against the person who leaked the remaining three episodes of the fourth season. The network also disabled their press website, where it was reported the leaker accessed the shows.
50 Cent’s supposed confession comes after the show’s executive producer, Courtney A. Kemp, said the network wouldn’t agree to a 12-episode season instead of their normal ten.
Starz has not yet responded to 50’s Instagram post.
